Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The creative usage of everyday items once again proves that simple everyday items may also evoke an artistic appeal. The clever outlay of the sleeve works well in accentuating the various directions of the stripes.The tight crop and clarity have also been mastered well in this image . The presence of the little brown button tends to break away from the image but adds an overall appeal in attracting the eye to the image. Congrats and well done!

Stripes appear in many places if we look close enough, as they are often to be found in the natural and man made world in which we reside. Here I would like to see straight lines of stripes, although they may appear in any direction such as diagonally. The subject matter is of your own choice and is open to interpretation. Black and white or colour images are acceptable. As usual in my contests creativity will be rewarded.
