Congratulations on your award in this contest. Let me start by saying I love the composition of this photo. The spiraling leaves just drew my eye to the center of the succulent. Your attention to detail was exceptional. . The lighting was excellent with the darker shaded being on the outside edges and lighter in the center. Great job!

I struggled with first place in this contest but finally settled on yours. The random composition and the colors drew my eye to choose this one as the best. The colors are close to being complementary and the detail of each leaf is phenomenal. I loe how you chose an angle which randomized the uniform leaves. I ave photographed this type of plant also, nd it is always one of my favorites.
