Every aspect of this image is sitting together very nicely for me. Aperture very nice. The styling of the glasses to the subject to the attire is nicely matched. Great lighting - particularly like the lighting aspect of showing the mullet at the back. Very very excellent work - well done & super congratulations on the winning image.
Just beautiful. It's the droplets on the sunglasses for me. Excellently captured from a technical perspective & excellently edited which is half the skill here. Lovely colour palette. I do wonder whether the crop could be improved ever so slightly. Might be worth playing around if it was a wider shot in the first place. Super congratulations on 3rd place.
I love the movement in this image. It's telling a story which is lacking in many other entries & has a beautifully strong docu style which is a very welcome addition. Love that this has been shot on an iPhone too! Phone cameras have come such a long way & is wonderful that we have a manual camera in our pockets at all times. Well done on the 2nd entry.

**This contest is open to photographers ranked 1000+ in this week’s Leaderboard.** Pictures of people looking cool (or not so much) in their sunnies. Artists rely heavily on the eyes to portray emotion, and engage the viewer. Sunglasses take those eyes out of view, and in their place sit these strange items that still exist a little awkwardly somewhere between practical sun and wind blockers, and fashionable statements for the fashion conscious. Images can be of sunglasses being worn or not, and in any context.
