Surf photography around the world

Everything about this shot is perfect. In fact it only didn't make #1 because in my mind it was too perfect! Great angles, beautiful shot of the barrel, the blue of the sky contrasting with the bottle green of the wave. The surfer is at that perfect surf angle, and even the clouds add to the image. Perfect shot.

Out of all the photographs entered, in my mind this was the one that was the most creative in terms of the brief. The aspect makes this really interesting and I still can't work out how he took it! Brilliant colour, just a fabulous image. Came very close to being the top shot.
