Swans Up Close

This is a great shot. A very nicely coloured pin sharp close up of a swan's eye. I love the way you have framed the swan and cropped bits off. It has allowed the eye to be the main focus without you being distracted away from it. A beautiful image, well done.

This is a lovely black and white close up of a swan. I like how you have the eye just off centre. You have beautiful detail in the whites which is very difficult to achieve. A nice peaceful close up of a swan, well done.

I like how you have chosen to photograph a juvenile swan as it makes the image more unusual and much more interesting through having the different feather colours. I would lighten the eye up a little for me but it hasn't detracted anything from the images' superb quality. I just prefer to have a little more sparkle and light in the eye as it is the main focus. The image is pin sharp, especially the eye, very well composed and has great feather detail all the way around. A lovely, different and quality swan close up, well done.

This is such a beautiful image. I love how you have chosen to include the feathers in the image as it adds foreground interest. I don't mind them being soft either as it is more unusual.. I love how you have focused in on the lovely bright red eye. It is 100% pin sharp. The whole image blends extremely well. A very worthy winner, congratulations.
