I like this as its taken possibly on a way to work so its something you see in our everyday lives. Symmetry is everywhere and most of the time we do not see it. Its really just the two tones in the image which adds to its eye catching qualities. The other thing which draws your eye into the image is the vanishing point created by the strip lights in the carriage therefore drawing your eye into the centre of the image.
In this contest I have tried to pick images which are genuinely symmetrical rather than be done in post processing. This is a fine example. Cropped to perfection I just like the simplicity of the criss cross lines on the bridge and the smooth background of the sky. Nicely done and well done for getting in the top ten..
I love how clean this image looks. It brings about a feeling of calm. I love the pastel tones and that the image is a genuine symmetrical image not mirrored in post processing. You have obviously waited for people to clear or the long exposure has blurred any people out. Wonderful shot and congratulations getting in the top ten.
