Symmetry

A beautiful symmetrical study of light and tone. The light fully describes the form and the intricate shapes in the Cathedral. The detail in the column's and arches is remarkable. The leading lines taking us down to the stained glass window. A beautiful capture and process, well done in being in my top ten selection.

My winning image encapsulates all that is beautiful in photography. A symmetrical triangular composition with perfect lighting. This image would be beautiful in colour or Black and White, but the black and white emphasise's the elegance of the model and pose without distraction. A remarkable and beautiful capture. A wonderful atmospheric symmetrical image that gives the viewer a sense of being in the Red Fort. Our eyes are naturally drawn to the light through the three symmetrical arches. The lighting on their scalloped shapes giving depth to the distant arches. The figure passing through gives a nice focal point. A slight crop from the right would remove the lighted window. Beautiful image and congratulations on being in my top ten.

A beautiful old library, built for symmetry that begs to be photographed in this form. The yellowed bindings of these ancient books is amazing and is well toned with the wooden panelling. The marbled busts leave no doubt that this building is a homage to study and learning. Your well positioned capture gives a sombre feeling. For me this a quiet place and smells of polished wood and old books, creating a strong atmospheric feeling, The only constructive comment that I can make is that you could tone down the blue light on the upper left. Overall a great capture full of atmosphere. Well done and congratulations on being in my top ten selection.

A beautiful study of a wonderous piece of medieval architecture. The lighting gives the cloisters both a cool and warm feeling that creates a surreal dreamlike effect. The detail in the ceiling is stunning. The multi stitch has done an outstanding job of maintaining the verticals and preserving all the detail.
