Congratulations on the 1st place in my contest! This image is one of the classic views of rice terraces of Asia. The rice looks like it's ripe for harvesting, the terrain of Mu Cang Chai is famous for the hills beautifully augmented by local farmers over hundreds of years, and of course, you picked a perfect time of the day and the weather while taking this picture. Bravo!
I was hoping to see a lot more of drone images of agricultural terraces in my contest. This is a wonderful semi-abstract composition of the complex geometry of Jatiluwih landscape in Bali. The winding creek lined by trees, paths and farmers' huts dotting the landscape add to the realism and the visual appeal of your photo. Well done!

This is a wonderful composition showing the vertiginous agricultural mountainside landscape of Madeira. The village looks like it's perched right on the edge of a steep slope, with terraces all around it. I only wish there would have been a little more post-processing in this otherwise lovely photo.

I love the diagonal of the hillside against the backdrop of the Alps as well as the warm autumn sunlight in this beautiful image. While a lot of vineyards from the photos submitted to this contest did not actually grow on terraces but simply on hillsides, this is a beautiful example of European terraced viticulture. Well done!

Let me see your colour photos of terrace farming, which is agriculture on terraces cut in hillsides or mountain sides growing crops such as rice, tea, wheat, barley and so on. It can be broad views of the terraces whether flooded with water or with rice at various stages of cultivation, or maybe farmers working on the terraces. Colour photos only please.

What attracted me to this image was the curve of the terraced outcrop and the trees scattered around the hillside that give a good sense of scale to the landscape. Of course, the light is wonderful as well. I was pleased to see images from so many corners of the world in this contest that prove that terraced agriculture is truly a global phenomenon. Congrats on the top 10 spot.
