This is the UK national round of the EISA Maestro Photo Contest 2023. To enter this contest you must be a UK resident.
Submit a series of between 5 and 8 images on the theme of 'The Animal Kingdom'. Unlike most competitions that are based on a single image, we want to see a selection of images that should hang together as a coherent whole, for example telling a story.
Your subject matter may include any kind of animal, including wild and urban wildlife, pets, and farm animals.
All entries must be taken by you for the purposes of this competition. Existing portfolios are excluded.
Publication in Amateur Photographer magazine for the Top 3, and for the winner a digital AP subscription and put forward to the final round of the EISA Maestro Photo Contest 2023, where there's over €4,250 cash prizes

International Judging: June 2023
The winning entries from each of the 16 participating EISA countries will be judged together at the Association’s Awards Meeting in June 2023. The final results of the International Maestro contest will be revealed at the EISA Awards Gala in September 2023 or, if circumstances are less favourable, online alongside the EISA product Awards on 15 August 2023.
All National Maestro winners will also be published on Facebook at the end of June for the EISA Public’s Choice competition. The prize for the winner here is €1,000.
To enter this contest a portfolio of your work is needed. Your portfolio will be automatically entered into the contest when the required number of photos have been added.
This contest is expert judged only with no rating by the crowd. You will be able to find out how you did when the judging or rating period has closed.
