This image is one that portrays a powerful image to me. Showing something that should not be there but clearly has been for some time. The use of the sun to highlight the bottle and bring out the details inside is very nice and the focal depth helps to bring attention straight to the bottle.

The softness of this image really drew my attention. I love the negative space on the image with the only piece of detail being the pier jutting out into the centre of the image. The colours are toned very well with a nice horizon between the sunset sky and I love the finished piece you have created.

This image jumped out at me straight away when rating. The colours really stand out, the repetition of shape and also the way you have used each beach hut to frame the next i really like. The focal point is far enough down the line of beach huts to pull the attention into the image centre as well.

I really love the use of black and white and detail within this image. The details in the foreground wrap around the individual standing at the end of the path helping to highlight the focal point of the image, The details in the sky are very subtle and add to the feeling of solitude and calm

I really enjoyed this image, the crab itself almost has a comic look to it when square on and the colours compliment each other really well giving the image a very warm feeling. I also quite like the fact the crab is off centre as this balances out the sun being slightly off centre as well.

I found myself continually coming back to this image after I had seen it. I had no doubt in my mind this was my winning image. I really love the way a story can almost be seen from the boats and I found myself following them out to see with my eyes which i feel is aided with the use of negative space, it draws you in to the boats even more. The colours and the split between sand and sea also helps to balance the image nicely.
