The Colour Orange

I love this image. Stark, simple and really striking. The intense expression from the red fox as it peers across the snow is mesmerising. I like how you have chosen to have the majority of the frame white. It really makes me look closely at the fox's beautiful orange fur.

This shot really stood out from all the many other macro insect images that were entered. The detail is wonderful - well done with the focus stacking. Nice lighting that gives a lovely soft sheen to the eyes. Maybe worth revisiting where you have burnt in the edges /faded to black so its less harsh? Sorry you couldn't save it but well done for trying.

This is a lovely detail shot of a SE Asian Buddhist Monk (I've always loved their orange robes). It's great to see something different to the many many other shots that were entered. The orange really pops out of the picture yet my eye always goes back to the book he is holding thanks to the arms drawing the eye back. Well done for noticing this detail and focusing on it as it is easy to miss in such a visually interesting location.
