The Colour Yellow

Just an eye and so much more. This is a great example of getting the right angle to capture the best expression in a photo. i love how the eye stands out nice and sharp, while the yellow of the petals stays soft and vibrant framing the the whole thing...well done!

The capture of the light inside of the flower made the yellow stand out against the purple and it made an dramatic effect that was both beautiful and eye catching. I would have liked to see the yellow pollen played up a little more like we see in the top of the picture.

The Yellow of the sky and the swirl of the waves makes me feel as if I'm standing on the beach, I can almost here the roar of the waves and to me that makes a great photo! I don't think that I can say much more, this photograph says it all!

I loved the simplicity of this shot, the window is old, the paint is pealing and the shutters are falling off and yet the colours of the blue against the yellow make it feel warm and happy! This is a great example of a simple shot that conveys so much more that just a window, well done.

This is such a pretty picture...the expression on the little girls face is one of beauty and tranquillity. From the pale yellow dress to the dark hair and eyes and even the head dress are what make this picture stand out and at the same time give it a look of serenity! And I love the little butterflies as an accent to this photo.

Out of all the photographs submitted with animal content, I find this one to be too cute to pass up! I don't know if this shot was posed or just happened but it was very well done, it shows creativity and patients...I loved it!
