The Four Seasons

Again another image where I can feel the season and not just see, the poor Robin struggling to find food amongst the falling snow, hoping the feeder was full! It's a really simple image but it's lovely and sharp in the face and eyes and fits the brief perfectly.

Out of all the snowscenes entered this is one of my favourites, the house is almost lost against the white of the landscape and the whole scenes fit together perfectly. Leaving the house small in the frame really gives a sense of isolation against the harsh winter landscape and gives a great sense of scale.

Really great image and well done on placing so high.

Well this really captures the winter season perfectly, the hare on its hind legs surveying the area and the photographer braving the elements to capture this stunning wildlife image. You should be very proud of this awesome image and well done on the high placing.

A perfect image for this competition, lovely and sharp with the colourful leaves standing out in beautiful contrast against the misty background and grey tree. I'm not sure if some areas have been desaturated to make the leaves stand out but if they have it works well for this image.
