The Hippy Era

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The hippie era is well depicted in this image. The long hair of the gentlemen and unshaven look were the order of the day. Music was also a medium of trying to get their ideals across to the rest of the world. This was done in the hope that this would lead to greater change and freedom of the present conditions The bright psychedelic colours typical of the era are well depicted. These two gentlemen are obviously trying to get a message through to the people using a medium they love most - that of music.. One can see how engrossed they are in their art as no cognizance of the photographer is apparent. . The colourful psychedelic wall behind them, the umbrella, rugs and clothing are bright and brilliant demonstrating the fashion. of the times. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The hippie era was filled with it's own typical traits, ideas and new liberated notions- one of which was girl power. The power and future role of women worldwide was emphasized . The composition is perfect - the banner covering most of her body simply to prove a point is well demonstrated. Bright colours ,flowers and patterns were the order of the day Being close to nature and watching the sunset would've been a pass time spent by many.
