The Seaside

This is a nice sunset scene, the image has a lot going for it the river is a perfect lead into the image, the birds in the foreground is added interest, some may have cropped the bottom a touch but I like it has it is. The clam water and weak sunshine isn't to off putting also, the overall scene is one of peace and I could see myself happily enjoying a walk along this beach.

This is perfect, the whole family enjoying themselves while relaxing at the seaside. Typically Dad gets planted by the son while mother is catching some rays herself. Maybe this is after they have enjoyed a swim but its all about enjoyment and having fun relaxing and spending some time with family.

This image worked for me because its difference, its not often that someone will think about a B&W seaside scene but here its shows its often help to think outside the box. the focus is super and pin sharp, the small group of children watching the in coming Surf racing in ahead of a stormy looking sky in the centre of the image is spot on

well spotted and captured, again perfect for this comp theme, the guy walking along the rope while mates and girlfriends may be looking on. This takes some doing although he hasn't far to fall if its goes wrong. this is another take on the theme where the photographer has looked outside the box and come up with this image and not the normal crowded beach image

This is Fantastic and worthy of First Place the scene is beautifully captured of a young couple with their son enjoying the sea. The young lad looks like he's really enjoying the time on the beach while skipping the incoming wave held by is daddy and Mom. the brightness of the sun on white isn't easy to hold and can result in Blow out but I feel that in this image its is held nicely and balanced. The focus is sharp and setting the couple to the left gives the view of the open sea and incoming waves. The little lad laughing his head off maybe at the thought of mum and dad getting wet. a lovely well captured Holiday seaside scene which I am sure has a place in the family photo album.
