Tilt-shift effect

Tilt-shift photography is often used to make a life-sized subject or location look miniature in scale. When shooting from above and with the addition of vivid color, the results can be quite dramatic. You do not need an expensive lens to take advantage of this technique, some cameras offer software filters in camera or simple processing adjustments to simulate a shallow depth of field would do the job. However you choose to demonstrate the technique, get creative and let us see some miniature worlds.
