I like the selected scene. Also, technically you applied the tilt-shift effect very well. What could be improved on this photo is composition. I miss more foreground which would provide more context: Main subject - the bridge connecting two sides of the river. I would opt-in for a wider angle field of view. Keep up the good work :)

You have a great scene to work with, great colours and great subject with high potential to be miniaturized. However, the devil is in the details. Next time focus on basics. Straighten horizon first and then make the plane of tilt-shift effect perpendicular with the landscape the main subject it sits in. Photo would be more realistic thus miniature effect would appear more stronger. Almost there with the top!
Well, this one begged for being miniaturized. Great scene, great photo to begin with. Only slight gripe robbing you from being the best is the axis of the tilt-shift effect tool. If you gave perpendicular with the road, then the effect would be much more realistic with a greater focus on the main subject. Keep up good work!

Tilt-shift photography is the use of camera movements that change the orientation of the lens with respect to the image sensor, or by applying the effect of a shallow depth of field in post-processing software. In practice, this makes a real-world scene appear as a miniature or toy scene, such as you might find in a model railroader’s setup. Since we’re now into Autumn, we’d like this season to be the focus of your experimentation with this technique!
