Great contest!

Don't we all wish we had time on our hands! There is something slightly eery about this image, tonally it has a feel of an ultimatum when the timer runs out, yet there is no urgency to the image. Very well executed, and deserves a slot in my top 10. Thank you for entering, well done.

A very good rendition of demonstrating time. I am a car man myself, and it seems such a shame to have these rotting away in what appears to be a woodland area! These cars were once rolling off a production line brand new and gleaming, potentially driven new families, people of interest or used in unusual ways. However now they are very much unloved and they are lost to time as their stories now are. Very well captured, well done on your placing.

This is a clever concept, there is something about coins which have history to them which is fascinating. Imagining what each one of these pieces of simple metal has been used to buy, lives potentially changed, lost and found. I think there is still some scope with this and would urge you to return to this and experiment with other compositions and ways of displaying this image. But, a deserving second place for me, I wanted a creative way to show time in a single image and you delivered! Thank you for entering and well done.

An image with some irony, what I like about it and what motivated me to place it in the to 10 is the fact the clock face suffers the effects of time just like the rest of us. However I wish we could have cleaners to refresh us back to our prime in life. Well done on you r placing, well executed compositionally.

When I first look at an image occasionally I get a sense of something before I interpret further, and in this case it was Pirates. The rusted latches feel as though they are hiding something of interest. The little green padlock is both jarring to the image but also intriguing. Overall a well captured image, thank you for your entry and well done.

This is such a simple image but it is somewhat appealing. The mountain of sand slowly building is something I could watch all day, I think it is well composed and executed and I hope to see more work like it in the future from you. Well done on your placing!

This is very well deserving of my 1st place. This is an image which has a message I think we can all relate to in someway. It's a message which has personal value as well as being a well thought through concept, and executed incredibly well. The sepia tone gives a nod to time gone by, and the fact the sand is missing the entrance to the bottle suggests to me there is time we are not appreciating with our loved ones despite every grain being something we should cherish whilst we still can. Thank you for entering, and well done!

Time, it's something we all have, but wish we had more of. A tricky subject to capture in a single image but I am interested to see your responses. Lets be a little more creative than photographs of clock faces and watches, how can you demonstrate time in a photograph rather than display it? I am looking for the most creative responses. Good luck.

This image has made it's placing for the concept, I think it is a brilliant idea and a creative way to demonstrate time. I would say you have room to improve this even further, and next time you could see it place even higher! But thank you for a great entry, well done.
