Time

This image stood out the most to me as I feel it depicts the theme 'Time' really well. I love environmental portraits and Sudhir has captured a fantastic natural expression. I love the concept behind the image, in Sudhir's words, "the watch maker gave his life time to fix the perfect timing", and it has been executed well. The use of a wide aperture has created a shallow depth of field so the watch maker stands out from his surroundings, yet we can still see his environment, which adds context to the image. The black and white conversion works well and adds impact to the portrait. An excellent image, well done Sudhir!
