This stark juxtaposition attracts and holds viewers attention. For non-Russian speakers, this is a poster of a play in Odessa Russian Drama Theater. The title of a play translates as Scum, Lowlifes, the very bottom of society, but also bastards and scumbags.

Indeed the strong word is in store for the society of people who made this lady beg in order to survive in her old age..

The play was released circa 1988.
