This photo simply but incredibly effectively tells an entire story. It's a moment that anyone living or working in London has experienced. Waiting for that next train can seem like an eternity and you are alone with your thoughts... Brilliantly composed and executed and a worthy winner.

You cannot help but be captivated by this shot. The photographer has transported us to Vietnam and we are a part of the story. There is wonderful chemistry between all of the subjects even though they are all doing separate things.

I love this shot. It captures such a wonderful moment of human emotion. The three people on the train are looking at the man not wanting to let go. My only wish is that the man standing outside the train had his eyes open, but a very good photo.

A wonderfully well-constructed image. For me what makes this image different from the other similar photos of this scene that I have seen is the near perfect distances between the subjects. This gives the photo a great sense of symmetry and balance.

A wonderful shot that captures everything that a travel photo should. Mood, atmosphere, relationship and the story are all there is a simple but beautiful composition. I feel like I am on a journey with the people walking through... An incredibly tough decision to split the top two, but a worthy runner up.

A wonderfully simple shot that almost works perfectly to tell the story. You don't need to see the whole boat to have an idea of the size of it and you are immediately captivated by what is happening. The framing could be slightly more to the right and possibly capturing the moment that the man is actually painting would add to the story more. But a very good photo regardless.
