I love the way the horsetail gives an otherworldly, alien effect to floor of this woodland. I looks like a witches bubbling cauldron. The trees are a nice contrast and the limited colour palette is very pleasing. A great composition; very strong and super effective. Thank you for entering this, and congratulations on your top ten place.
All the elements in this image come together to make a very pleasing whole. The sun rays light up the garlic highlighting patches of it providing some contrast. I like the moss covered fence adding an additional colour green and the path gives depth and perspective. A lovely image, thanks you for entering and congratulations on your top ten place
Out of all the many gorgeous bluebell images that were submitted this one really caught my eye. I love the composition with the barbed wire fence adding extra interest and a contrast to the delicacy of the bluebells. I like that you have resisted pushing the colour and kept the it subtle and natural and the limited colour palette is very much to my taste. Thank you for entering and congratulations on your top ten place.
This image really hit the brief and was what I had in mind when I set it. The density of the snow white snow drops contrasts perfectly with the dark tree trunks. The soft shadows from winter sunlight adds texture. I also like the texture on the tree trunk which gives additional interest. Thank you for entering and congratulations on your top ten place.
I love everything about this image. the lush green carpet of fern, perfectly detailed and pin sharp, contrasting with the strong upright nearest trees. The fog really makes the composition separating the trees and giving a mysterious magical feel. The colour palate is really pleasing adding to the overall effectiveness of the image. Thanks you for entering and congratulations on your first place.
Of all the abstract images entered, this is my favourite. I love the soft fairy tale feel. the bright leaves on the trees are a lovely contrast with the bluebells. The sunlight gives life and energy to the image. and the zigzag path takes the viewer up into he image. Great sense of depth and perspective. Thanks you for entering and congratulations on our top ten placing.

This put into my mind a fairy glen with a secret pathway full of cow parsley just waiting to be explored. The summer sun has been dealt with skilfully to give a soft, almost painterly feel. This is most inviting image that makes me want to come and explore. Thanks you for entering and congratulations on your top ten place.
This image caught my eye as soon as I saw it. I like ground cover of the forest floor, densely packed leaves with their delicate white flowers, giving a river of green amongst the trees. The detail and texture of the trees has been well captured and is a nice contrast with the softness of the ground cover. Thank you for entering and congratulations on your top ten place.
I love the abstract feeling of this image. The lovely colour palette is very much to my taste . The sun gives a nice feeling of depth and highlights the trees giving them colour and additional interest. The lack of colour of the ferns gives a ghostly quality which adds texture and greatly enhances the image. A lovely image that I would be very happy to hang on my wall. Thank you for entering and congratulations on your top ten image.
I like this image very much, the colours of the ground cover and the up right silver birch trees. (my favourite tree) are a lovely contrast. The image has an abstract feel to it. The softness of the fore ground contrast well with the structured uprights of the trees. A really lovely image, thank you for entering and congratulations on your top ten placing.
