Two Colours Only

First of all, a big thank you to everyone for the submitted photos. It has been a pleasure to be a judge and have to choose one's favorites from all these colorful pictures. As my first place, I have chosen this image, which brings back memories of the summer that has just passed. A fine symmetrical style still life with summer flowers presented on a spoon. The colors are delicate, kept simple in sunshine yellow and white only broken by the metal color of the spoon, which does not disturb the two-tone impression. My compliment.

Stylishly elegant and minimalist still life in black and yellow. The picture has a contemporary look, and I could easily see it hanging on a wall in large format. My compliment and congratulations on a place as number six in my top ten :-)

Charming, mundane, picture of a slightly worn sink and tap. The image's title, Luxuries, probably refers to the fact that running water is a luxury. But in fact, the choice of color makes the arrangement seem precisely luxurious despite the wear. A piicture with a great mood. Congratulations on a place as number three in my top ten :-)

The next image that I have chosen for my top ten honors the two things that I value highly in this competition, namely a creative approach and a minimalist look. With simple means, the author has created an eye-catching image in two colors that complement each other in the best way. My compliments and congratulations on a second place :-)

An exciting and different picture of flowers. The many sunflowers form a fantastic and almost abstract pattern in a nice yellow and green contrast. I can imagine this pattern printed on a piece of fabric that could be turned into a wonderful dress. Congratulations on a place in my top ten :-)
