Umbrellas

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. One can't help but smile on viewing this image which has a wonderful feel good aspect attached. One can't help but ponder about what is so secretive behind that umbrella! The black and white works extremely well, once again proving that colour isn't always necessary to draw the viewer into the image. Congrats and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge the composition , colour and symmetry involved in this image is outstanding. the placement of the umbrella in the middle of the white line draws one's attention into the main focal point- the umbrella. This is also achieved by the stark contrast between the black road and the red of the open umbrella A well thought out image and extremely mind provoking making one linger longer than usual on the image at hand. Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge The first two points which captured my attention were the fact that a black and white image can work just as well as the usual display of bold colours -secondly I love the element of surrealism with the origami birds looking for shelter with a friend at hand.
