This image is so unique and completely captured the "Undergrowth" brief. The title is perfect and you (the photographer) had obviously found your "tiny treasure" somewhere on your walk or hike. The story behind this capture is untold, but it is very intriguing.......??. Congratulations on my FIRST choice.
Meet the judge
Slippery, slimy undergrowth and mossy, wet rocks are enough to cause trouble when trying to photograph an interesting image. BUT that adds to the appeal. I hope you didn't end up with a wet camera and a sore "derriere" when capturing this Scottish plant life. Congratulations on an entry with a point of difference and lovely detail.

"THERE are fairies at the bottom of our garden! It's not so very, very far away; You pass the gardner's shed and you just keep straight ahead -- I do so hope they've really come to stay".......by Rose Fyleman (May 1917) This image has that magical quality to it that perfectly illustrates the poem and depicts those "tiny treasures" in the undergrowth waiting to be found.

I was enjoying the outdoors by wandering through our paddocks the other day looking for macro subjects at eye level and on looking down realized that the world beneath our feet was full of "tiny treasures". So for this contest I would love to see your interpretations IN MACRO of your world when walking in the park, garden, fields or woodlands. These could be images of fallen leaves, tiny seeds, weeds, moss etc. BUT it must be MACRO and have a sense of undergrowth.
