This is a great image demonstrating the reality of unity in a lot of peoples lives. Only by uniting and working together is it possible to achieve anything and it's clear that these people have a unity that will triumph. The use of B&W draws us into the image and reveals so many details. It's an unfussy image that is neatly cropped in so the viewer focusses on the effort that these men are making. Congratulations on gaining 3rd place in the Unity contest.
An intriguing image of a festival in which unity is demonstrated by the many people supporting and presumably propelling these heavy structures along. It would have been nice to had a description of the festival to support the image for those of us not familiar with it. The image is nicely composed and framed and makes good use of colours. Congratulations on gaining 4th place in the Unity contest.
A poignant image that demonstrates the unity that exists between those who have served in the military. A unity that binds these men with each other over the years and also with their fallen comrades. A unity that is reaffirmed each year at Rememberance gatherings. The image makes good use of depth of field and the tight cropping makes the viewer part of the scene. The Black & White processing is very good. Congratulations on gaining 7th place in the Unity contest.
Team sports usually demand unity and this is nicely demonstrated in this image in the determined looks and movement of these players. This is a well captured image given the rain and the high ISO suggests that it was probably a fairly gloomy day. The fast shutter speed was key to getting a sharp image and great timing on your part made for an exciting image. Congratulations on gaining 10th place in the Unity contest.
A super example of the way that animals can display unity, in this case uniting in the common cause of mutual protection. This is a splendid underwater image that has made good use of the available light and is nicely composed. You have made photographing in a tricky environment look deceptively simple but I'm sure it took a lot of effort and planning. Congratulations on gaining 8th place in the Unity contest.
I'm not a huge fan of selective colour but here it works well to draw the eye in to the focal subject. The image is a great example of people uniting around a common cause. As an image it works well because of the high contrast used for the foreground making the people and the placards, and therefore the message, stand out. This is reinforced by the lower contrast of the trees behind the marchers. A compelling image and congratulations on gaining 2nd place in the Unity contest.

A beautifully crisp Black & White image capturing the unity of a trio of singers in 'full flow' as they entertain a crowd. The image is nicely cropped and the shallow depth of field works well to create a feeling of depth within the image, without losing touch with the distant member of the trio. Congratulations on gaining 6th place in the Unity contest.
For me this image sums up human unity at its best. People uniting in the common cause of seeking to aid victims of a natural disaster. I like the straightforward documentary style and the fact that you have chosen to keep the image in colour. It could be tempting to convert to B&W to add impact but this image doesn't need that. The colours draw the eye in and add to the depth, and the human figures show the scale and height of the collapsed building. A very poignant image. Congratulations on winning the Unity contest.
This image really demonstrates the unity that a team sport, in this case football, can bring about. In this case to the red half of Liverpool, supporting Liverpool FC. It's a great image that captures the emotion and celebration of success, and of the unity of the players and supporters. The Point of View is ideal, allowing us to be part of the crowd yet raised above it we have a clear view of the unfolding event. Congratulations on gaining 5th place in the Unity contest.
