I was drawn to this photo because of the photographers use of the road as a leading line pulling focus from the foreground to the skyscrapers of New York.  The levels and textures of the architecture give the photo a gritty urban feel set against a dramatic sky.  A worthy winner, well done :)

I really like this wide angle interior shot which I feel encapsulates modern urban architecture well.  The heavy contrast against the lights makes the viewer feel as though they might be inside a unidentified flying object! A lovely example of urban architecture.

**This contest is open to photographers ranked 1001+ in this week’s <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/photographer-community/">Leaderboard</a>.** Urban architecture encompasses all the buildings found within our towns and cities. Often with limited space available, buildings combine functionality and practicality with design, and encompass the full range of architecture - retail, offices, hotels, high rises, museums, hospitals, apartment blocks, urban residences, public buildings, and government buildings. Many signature buildings exist within our urban spaces, designed by the world’s great architects. But they are also home to many nondescript buildings that have more of a focus on affordability.

A lovely example of creativity in the interpretation of the theme.  I think that this is a well executed photo of the world famous St Paul's with traffic light trails used to enhance the buildings architecture set amongst urban life with the traffic in London.
