Van Dwelling

A wonderful dreamy capture of the van dwelling lifestyle. The rusty reds combine very well with the blue colors of the background. The way some spots of red echo in the background make the photo nicely balanced. The van is clearly the focus of the image but everything comes really together ones you discover the second person in conversation with the man at the left.

Congratulations on winning this Contest. This image shows very well the feeling of a nomadic life. I very much like the spontaneous and candid style of the composition. The colors remind me of the photography in the seventies, which emphasize the feeling of freedom even more. Well done, I love it.

Steel, stone and sand under a free and wild sky, a great wide view of how van dwelling can be. But here is a lot of detail to see as well, such as the chairs at the back of the van and the wonderful terrace on the vans roof. The long diagonal shadow really completes the composition, beautiful.

Not an epic view at some mountains or a nature reserve but a very funny capture of a stop in a city street to take a nap. No windows in the tiny van, so just keep the door open and stick your feet outside, a great image. The detail of the second red car completes the composition nicely.

The over exposure of this photo works quite well to create a dry and hot atmosphere with a strong focus on all the vans with all the life in and around them. The color parts in this image are the people and the items they use, providing a nice story telling photo.
