I love the mood this image is setting - a warm and calm feeling from the sunrise with a notch of drama from the sky! Beautiful work with the shadows - not too dark to hide details and not too light, so they preserve the mood. Congrats for setting the subject in the center of the frame - the person on the high peak is really giving me the sense of scale and a sense of a vast landscape!

To me, the capture of all these beautiful green tones as a pattern with the little cabin shows how vast this fields are. Maybe the absence of sky in the frame makes it event vaster! I like the colorful mood and the play with the shadows you have made. To be honest, at first it looked a bit over-processed, but on a second look, I find it very well done! Congrats for the beautiful scene!

Contrary to what some might say, I take this scene as an interesting seascape. I like the point of view of the image, capturing the divided water parts. All the people give me the sense of vastness, enough to consider the image as a contender in the contest. It is an interesting composition with an interesting point of view worth mentioning. Congrats for the good shot.

The colorfulness and density of details in this photo are so nice, that it is extremely eyecatchy. I really like the usage of the moving car as a subject - this is actually the object that gives me the impression of a vastness of that scene - looking at the image, I just imagine this endless driving in one direction. Great shot!

This is a shot, holding a different type of comparison subject as a scale from all the others, and from what I imagined in the start, which I really like. The door and fence is used really smart first as a composition element and a leading line, and second as a story element - the opening to the vast landscape behind. Completed with the dramatic sky it gives me a sense of the opening gates to heaven!

Watching this picture makes me feel a bit helpless, looking at the never ending scene of sand and dunes with light fading so far away. I commend you for the composition, by including more dark foreground than sky. The people silhouettes in the frame give event more sense of how vast this scene is. This is what I love in the picture - the mood it sets. It's a bit darker maybe, but as much as I look at it, I do not see the dark areas as a problem. On contrary - it helps me get that feeling of humility and helplessness and I hope I never get lost in such a landscape :) Congrats for the beautiful capture

There are scenes which are so vast, spreading all around, that make you feel small in front of that unbelievably huge space with no end. For this contest I would like to see your photographs of vast landscape scenes of deserts, mountains, coasts, or any other landscape or seascape. Images must include a common object, animal or a person as a subject in the landscape, so it can show the scale of the scene.

I think it's hard to show a vastness of a scene in a portrait mode, but this one does it for me. It's a nice use of leading lines, following the subject in the scene, who helps the eye to get a sense of the scale of the landscape. I would've moved just a bit to the left, so the starting point of the steps trail is not cut of, but nevertheless - I love the photo!

Oh, I really like how the fog hides what's beneath! As a snowboarder, I have experienced such views and I gotta say that it's quite scary not to see where you are going :) On the photograph - the captured composition does show a vastness of the scene, but I would've tried to move the foreground skier a little up, so he is not on the edge and leave a little breathing space. I commend you about choosing a monochrome version, it does pass me the feeling of space, as the image strips down colors and shows only space! Congrats for the beautiful capture!
