Venetian Scenes in Colour

I liked the image and it reminded me of the video and album cover of “ Venice in Peril” the sky is really striking and the panoramic format gives the image a great deal of drama and highlights the close relationship between Venice and the tides

This view of Venice has been well treated and is not the standard holiday image, by your composition and choice of time in the blue hour this is a piece of art. I liked the implied triangle in the composition between the tower and the pilings well done

This image was a very different take on the cliched view in that you combined Venice, the gondolas the island but added the point of interest with the carnival character which added interest and made it more than a record shot. It was a pity that the sky didn’t have a few clouds just to break the blue up. Well done

A dramatic portrait showing the delicate details and intricate design of the carnival mask. Your depth of focus has kept the eyes and mask in focus so well done and there is a catch light in the eye. I also looked carefully and the white balance is good it would have been easy to get a very cool feel with all the blue good work

I liked the combination of the light trails with the pre Dawn colours of sky. The lights on the building add points of interest but you chose the exposure well as they aren’t too bright to be blown out or draw your eye away from the curve which has added emphasis from the light trails
