View from the bench

When I created this contest I expected I would choose from the best views available in the most exotic places (and there were some great views). To my surprise one of the worst view seems to have captured my attention the most, although the lady on the bench seems fascinated by it.

I like the fact that it describes what a breathtaking view would look like if you could actually see one.

Another story telling image. I wonder what can be seen just out of the view of the camera that captures the attention of both the man and the dog?

I like this photo because there is so much left to viewer to fill in using their imagination.

At first glance the use of a black and white image combined with the smart looking gentleman with the elaborate moustache seems to make this photo look like very old. Until that is you notice the view he has if of the mobile phone he is looking at so intently.

Such a fun photo! I love it. It surprised me with being so different in style from the other entries. Not what I was expecting at all and certainly not what I would expect from 'just another day in the park'.

Maybe there's another contest here - "What is the most unusual/unexpected thing you have seen?"

I love the effect of the bold colours in this photograph. What with the blue and yellow of the two benches, the stand-out red and black of the 'no dogs' warning sign, attached to the contrasting white fence. Add these to the grey overcast day and you get a simple yet effective photo.
