Wanderlust – our natural desire to travel – has consumed human interests throughout the millennia. Across continents and oceans, Earth is a never-ending source of thrill, adventure and beauty. In this challenge we want to see the most inspiring photos of your own explorations around the world…and what a prize we have for the overall winner – a scholarship to the Maui Photo Expedition, including a five night stay at The Four Seasons Maui at Wailea. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to stay in one of the world’s most luxurious resorts and learn photography in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Prize details
The expert's 1st choice will receive a space in the Maui Photo Expedition at Four Seasons, a five day adventure to the most beautiful spots on the Hawaiian island of Maui, with Robert and Peter as your instructors/guides, June 14th-19th 2016. You'll stay for five nights in the luxurious Four Seasons Resort in Maui at Wailea. (Please note that the winner is responsible for their own air travel to Maui. If the overall winner is not able to make the trip, it will be offered to the runner-up).
The winner of the crowd vote will receive a $169 Tenba Cooper-8 bag from the acclaimed Cooper series.
In the expert's category, we also have a $250 Adorama gift voucher, and a $195 Adoramapix photobook. These will be offered in order of prize value to the two highest-placed entrants who do not attend the Maui workshop.
How it works
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
