Water

A brilliant image that takes some great timing and a lot of patient to capture. The light flooding through the wave adds some vibrant colours. My only criticism is that I feel it is a little too vibrant. This may be due to post production?

Although its not on brief due to in not being shot in the water, I thought this was a great image. The shutter speed has made a great effect on the water and the positioning of the photographer coupled with the wide angle lens really puts you in the scene.

A beautiful composition that I'm sure took a lot of patience to create. I love the simplicity and minimalism of this image which I believe has been enhanced by using black and white. It is also one of the very few images that is on brief!

I love the frozen action in this image. A simple and peaceful shot captured moments before the wave landing on your head? The back lighting through the wave adds a beautiful effect to the water. The tight framing adds mystery and shows amazing detail in the lip of the wave.

Amazing detail creating a very intense shot. I love the reflection from the surface and the bubbles surrounding the subject. My only criticism is that I think the image would be more powerful without the legs of the person behind which is a little distracting. Overall a great shot which could have been made even better if it was timed slightly later!
