What have the Sumerian’s ever done for us? Well they invented the wheel, for one, although it’s a matter of some debate exactly where and when that happened. A few thousand years down the line, you won’t have trouble finding a wheel of some kind or another wherever you look. There are no restrictions on the types of wheels you can enter into this contest, and you can even go looking for toothed wheels in the form of cogs.
