Congratulations for getting in the top ten. I love the wonderful unusual angle you took this from and the serene sunset colours. Its wonderful to see an elephant enjoying the water like this. Animals of this beauty are getting so rare thanks to us humans. I hope that we can help keep these magnificent animals to survive and thrive. Well done on your top ten placement.
Congratulations on a 2nd place. I had a hard job picking my top ten of this contest. I chose yours because you don't see that many images of big beautiful bears. This image is fantastic with the amazing capture of the water drops pouring off he bears fur, plus you can see there is a water fall behind it. Bang on brief. I love the bears expression too, because it reminds me of "Baloo" in The Jungle Book. A cracking image and congrats again on 2nd place.
Congratulations on 5th place. In most contests you don't get to see such a different variety of animals. I have hardly seen Water Buffalo in Photocrowd contests. I love his/hers facial expression and he/she looks like they are enjoying themselves. A beautiful picture of this lovely animal. Congrats again on 5th place in this contest.
Congratulations on 1st place in this contest. What an amazing image this is and totally full of action and detail. Its such an engaging image to look at and is spot on brief. Its very rare I get to see such fantastic animal images like this and its a real treat. Many congratulations again for 1st place.

***This contest is open to subscribers (members on the Challenger, Pro and Master subscription tiers). However if you're not a paying subscriber you can still purchase entries for £2 (GBP) per image.*** All wildlife has need of, or will come into contact with, water over the course of their daily lives. Others, such as swimming animals, wetland plants or creatures that eat fish, etc, rely on it more than most. From a photographic perspective, this can offer the opportunity to capture some really interesting moments. Knowing, beforehand, a little about different animal behaviours and their needs when it comes to water will help you to anticipate the shots that may present themselves.
