This image has held my attention while looking through 1,667 images! I constantly went back to it. Simplicity is the key here with that fabulous red peeling paint against the white wall and the detail in those tiny glass squares, it's simply wonderful. I've been spoilt in this contest, thank you for entering.

I chose this image to be in my top ten because it's something different that you don't see everyday. If the photographer had just taken the window and cropped in there, you wouldnt know that it was on a windmill. A stunning composition and a dynamic image. Simple yet it gives the viewer so much. As soon as I saw this image I was hooked. I love to see clouds in the sky and in this context through broken windows gives it the edge. The extractor vent brings you back to reality and grounds the image. I think the photographer has cropped the image nicely around the weather beaten old wooden frame too. This has been a very difficult contest to judge as there were so many images entered that I really loved. Thank you for entering and making my life difficult for the judging days.

Right from the get go this image grabbed my attention with its vibrant colours which work so beautifully together. It's a lovely old window with some gorgeous textures provided by the peeling paint. I love the composition which shows just enough of the window and yet so much more for the eye to roam around. For me it's a visual feast with everything in harmony and it evokes so many different feelings. Thank you for entering this stunning image.

It was so difficult picking a top ten in this contest. I could have had a top one hundred and that wouldnt have been enough. This may not have been in my top ten but that doesn't mean it's not worthy of it. The pets faces here are priceless. No words are needed to see what they are both thinking and I love the rain drops. I love a bit of humour in an image and here I got it. It also has the cute factor! Because the teddy is the only odd thing here it really jumps out at you. Very clever and simply adorable. Thank you for entering the cute factor.

This image is unique. I've not had any more like this out of over 1,600 entries. It's always good to be different and I like the way you have cropped in close with no other distractions. Not only do you have the cleaner on the left, you have his shadow on the right which balances things out. A super shot. Thank you for entering.

What a delightful image. The photographer has given it a lovely glow so it gives the viewer that warm fuzzy feeling inside. I love the little boy just gazing out. Everything in this image is in the right place, and I think it portrays everything without the need for words.

This one caught my eye when looking through the entries, and there were a lot of entries in this contest. I adore the cat in the bottom square and he or she has a brilliant expressive face. It's what photography is all about, catching the purr...fect moment (sorry I had to do that)! I would have liked to have seen the entire window unless there was something obstructing that of course but nevertheless a super entry. Thank you.

I laughed out loud when I saw this. This is one of a kind and I'm so glad you entered this. Cropping in to this window is the only way to show it off. It has to be the most unusual window in the contest but a great one.
