Sublime image indeed of this beautiful waterfall in Iceland. The scene sits comfortably in its frame, the colours are fabulous emphasizing the sense of cold and loneliness. The milky water is contrasting nicely with the strong lines of the rocks. The water is guiding the eye in and out of the scene.
What's not to love about a robin :) . You've captured this charming bird so beautifully. The branches of the alder act like a frame. Beautiful bokeh and subtle colour treatment. You could try and brighten it a bit to make it shine more and maybe increase contrast slightly. This would make a nice Christmas card.
It always pays to have a closer look! So much beauty can be found in little things. This icy detail makes an attractive abstract image. The different shapes, the crispness, the colour all work well together. The lines of the cracks draw the eye to the main piece in the middle. This might also look good with a square crop.
Places where you can see the night sky like this are getting increasingly rare. This is a beautiful scene with the snow covered mountains and upturned boat adding depth and the trees with their fine branches adding a delicate pattern to the sky. Funnily the shape of the trees mirrors the one of the milky way.
A soothing minimalist image with a meditative quality. The long exposure emphasizes the peacefulness and tranquility of the scene. The water's edge creates a perfect albeit not regular leading line . The rock on the left is balanced by the three rocks on the horizon. Pleasing natural colours with enough contrast to give it some punch.
Owls are such elusive creatures, so to see them at all and capture them so well in movement is a big achievement, bravo. The face is well in focus, the blurred wings and snowflakes emphasize the action. Very pleasing bokeh and background. Personally I'd have liked to have more space to the right to give the owl a way to go.
Another gorgeous image which illustrates that less is often more. A bleak winter landscape featuring an isolated farm perfectly placed with the trees adding height and interest. The line dividing the image is intriguing. The sky is very subtle. Might be worth increasing the contrast –but not much– to make it stand out more. An image for a wall.

The seasons are such rich concepts with which to drive our passion for photography. Capturing the essence of winter, in our landscapes, our behaviour and the lives of wildlife can take us out shooting when the weather might otherwise suggest it’s preferable to stay indoors.
