This was an incredibly hard contest to judge; I could have awarded first place to any one of these top ten picks! But, since I could only choose one image, this was the one I kept coming back to. I love the deep rich color and texture captured by the photographer. The wall compliments the door and window frame perfectly. Blue is definitely the star of the show here! What an amazing composition! The way these beautiful white swans stand in unison against a white background makes this image special. What better subject to use to represent the color orange than the fruit of the same name? And what an interesting way to photograph them! The focus on the oranges reflected in the water drops is perfect, while the background is perfectly out of focus. The green stem beautifully compliments the orange scenery. I feel at peace just looking at this image. The blue is calming but not cold. The exposure is long enough to smooth the water. Composition and perspective is sublime.
