Your favourite bar or pub....from the inside

Character, cozyness and wood all wrapped up with a rustic feel....and this image portrays all that perfectly for me. The processing conveys a sense of olde world charm but - I must admit - I'd have been very interested to have seen it in colour. Many thanks for entering.

This image immediately struck me the moment I saw it. I love the colours and the manner in which it has been processed not to mention the pint of Cornish Tribute. To me it conveys warmth and that all-essential cozyness in a good pub. Very nice and thank you for entering.

It was the black and white processing, with the look on the guys face to the right of this image, which made me sit up and take notice. Everyone looks a bit serious but obviously out to have a good time. A nicely composed picture which has an almost bygone era feel to it. Many thanks for entering.

This reminded me of the various interior hotel scenes from the film The Shining starring Jack Nicholson....of a past grandeur in a bygone age. As you say, very elegant and it looks just the place to enjoy a posh Gin & Tonic. Many thanks for entering.

I liked this image the moment I saw it. In all respects it is bang on as far as the brief was concerned. After having read the background I knew this was the winner. The picture oozes character and totally conveys to me what I like in an inn - character and a rustic but cozy feel with that all-important wood element. If I was in the area I would most definitely want to pop in for a pint. Many thanks for entering and congratulations on coming first.

Wonderfully atmospheric. It has lots of weathered wood - which I like - with just the right amount of exposure I feel. What sets it off for me are the light beams coming through the open door. Very nice and thank you for entering.
