Your Favourite Photo

As with my winner, I love the lighting in this photo. The long shadow of the walking person seems to give them more strength than it would seem they probably had given the walking stick. The parallel to the pavement is very nice too.

There are many photos of the Kings Cross Station roof but the human interest really makes this one stand out. Are they a passenger, are they waiting for someone to arrive, are they a member of staff? What makes it interesting is that it could be anyone.

Again, beautiful light in this photo. The backlighting and winding road give an excellent sense of depth and the two walking people give excellent human interest. It looks like it was a beautiful morning, and one that many photographers would like to witness.

An excellent photo, and one I know well. It is a great example of minamilism without being too minamlistic, and has a great feeling of depth with the curve of the beach huts. Excellent processing has finished the photo off nicely.
