A Christmas Card

This was without Doubt a very hard contest to Judge, there was so many wonderful Images that would have made excellence Christmas Cards that made me swap and change my Top ten a hundred Times. This image would make a lovely Christmas Card. The snowy scene of Trees covered in a flesh blanket of Snow a scene seen on many Christmas cards in shops and in peoples houses. I like the touch of Colour in this image from leafs still holding on on the beech trees, the focus is perfect and the while Balance held nicely something that isn't easy to get when photographing a while scene or subject... Well done

All too often is easy to think of people who beg has people who doesn't Deserve a second look and pass them by. Sadly this is a all to common sight on our high streets in this day and Age. Maybe he an Ex service man who knows but at Christmas time bear a thought for them that are sleeping on the streets .This image says a lot and should remind everyone that its could easily be You or me next year the year after who knows.

Waiting for Santa , a lovely scene well captured of the young waiting and maybe listening for Santa Sledge when they should be asleep. I liked this a lot has it was well thought out and it was hard not to include it in my Top ten it was that close. The one drawback is the lighting here as its a bit to over powering I think with a bright spot dead centre that's pulls your eye away from the main image.

Something I do on Boxing Day is go for a walk regarding the weather and if there's a bit of Snow Laying on the ground what better way to work off the Christmas Dinner and the mince pies then a scroll in the winter wonderland. This is a lovely scene with a nicely Framed view of a family enjoying a walk that could be from a Christmas day walk or other time. I like the way the photographer has used the wooden stile to draw the viewers eye into the image, its very sharp with excellence Focus The brightness in the sky adds just enough colour to the scene giving the viewer a scent of a cold night to come. Well done
