Thank you for entering the "An Identical Pair in Nature" contest. This image stood out, mainly because it is black and white, of which there were few entries, but in my opinion, it works. Many shots were of birds or wild animals, but you chose two farm animals, and such gentle creatures, as well. I like the tones and textures, and the fact that they almost fill the frame. Well done!

Thank you for entering the "An Identical Pair in Nature" contest. I had never seen these type of frogs prior to joining Photocrowd, and I must say, they never fail to make me smile. They remind me of little aliens with their big eyes and long limbs. I like the green/red/orange combination of these creatures and the fact that there are no distractions in the background. The image is appropriate, entertaining and memorable - a worthy top 10 place.

Thank you for entering the "An Identical Pair in Nature" contest. There were a few images of elephants entered, but I chose this one, mainly because of its "Ah" factor. Most people love to see animal babies, but there is something rather endearing about baby elephants. It's a shame that both of them aren't fully in the frame, but even so, I like the fact that the tail holding is more or less the centre point of interest. That in itself, tells a story.

Please submit your images of TWO (a pair) of subjects that are identical (or almost), for example, two birds, two frogs or two flowers etc. Only nature related shots and no composites, please. I have seen some wonderful photos recently, so I know they're out there!

Thank you for entering the "An Identical Pair in Nature" contest. I love the bright colours of these parrots and the textures of their feathers. It's a pity they're not both looking in the same direction, to make them more identical, however, this is not so important as overall, the image is good :)

Thank you for entering the "An Identical Pair in Nature" contest. What I like is the look in their eyes - they seem transfixed on the distance, probably watching their mother and waiting patiently for her return, with some nibbles! Lighting, tones and textures work well together.

Thank you for entering the "An Identical Pair in Nature" contest. If this had been two different eagles marching at the same time, then it would have been amongst those commended. However, it is the same bird, although well spotted and put together. Your honesty is appreciated :)
