In this contest I would like to see your photos of animals in a zoo. These images can be portrayed how you like, but it must be obvious your image was captured at a zoo.

Such a great photo and nothing that I don't like about it. I really love the overall colour of this photo mostly, because it feels different and generally this sepia sort of tone really fits. Even the framing of the shot where you have something across the foreground is very well executed, well done!

There's a lot I love about this photograph, but the main thing that made me pick it out is the excellent balance of focus and colour. It feels very warm in tone, yet also quite chilling because of this strange environment the otter is in (not natural). Fab job, well done!

This photo is beautifully composed. I really love the use of the blurry wire in front of this rather grumpy looking tiger. This is one of the type of images I was hoping to find in this competition, demonstrating the power behind captivity images and how they show zoos in this light. Great photo, well done!

One absolutely stunning photo. I think the entire concept of this picture is just brilliant. The walls look particularly out of place in this environment and you've really made this fit with the whole colour scheme and this was the concept I was after, showing an animal in this strange or out of place environment within a zoo. Well done, great job!

What an excellent shot! Just the kind of thing I wanted to see in this competition was this type of composition where an animal is clearly in captivity and demonstrating the power of this. This image speaks to me a lot as I've seen this scene many times where the animals gaze beyond their cage, and I think the monotone approach really adds to this emotion for me . Well done!
