Autumn Leaves (in colour)

I love the light that comes through the leaf, highlighting the veins and the worn spots. Having the leaf centred in the middle of the image works well with the rules of third principle. And the bokeh effect of the tree behind the subject is the perfect hint of autumnal activity behind the main subject of the image. Kudos and thanks for entering my competition.

I love the colour but I truly love the light coming off the top of the branch and enhances the shadows through the leaves. The bottom leaves are almost identical and in a perfect row and the branch is well-centered. Kudos and congrats.

I love the mixture of the long leaves throughout the image. The colour is vibrant and the light peeking through the branches makes the image a perfect combination of light and dark. The lines of the branches draw the eye across the image. Kudos and congrats.

What a perfect mixture of autumn leaves. The yellow, red and hint of green blend well together. And the hint of lights off the leaves gives the impression of dampness. There is also a perfect hint of detail in the veins of the leaves. Kudos.

I love the repeating pattern of the leaves and the bright red colour. Kudos on getting close and showing the detail of the veins in the leaves and their lustre. Filling the frame works well with shot too. Nicely done.

A lovely detailed capture in the centre of the image. The details of the leaf - especially the dots - are amazing. The log gives the image some texture and the brown leaves at the bottom of the image does a great job of giving the image balance. Kudos.
