Babies (Humans Only)

This expression gets me every time I look at it! Fantastic photograph! The lighting really helps draw your eye to the baby's face. I also think that black and white was a good choice for it. It gives it a nice old-timey feel.

I love absolutely everything about this photo from the lighting to the softness. The colors to the old / young subject matter. The love in this photograph is certainly felt when you view it. But then we get to the focus and unfortunately I did not enjoy the focus of the baby's face as much as I could have.

I adore the softness and the lighting of this photograph. The colors are just right and I love the way the light sort of pours over the baby as it gazes out. I would have liked to have seen better focus but even without the focus this is an amazing picture!

This is an adorable photograph! I love the lighting coming from the bottom, it is a very unique take that I do not see a lot of. I feel like the focus could have been a little better but other than that awesome job!

I think it is the positioning that makes this photo stand out so much to me. It really draws your eye to the baby. Then the colors make baby pop out more! It almost gives kind of a "Super baby" optical illusion (haha).

The old timey feel of this photograph is what originally drew my eye to it. Like there is almost a poetic wisdom too it. As baby gazes out they seem beyond their years. (Also props for getting this baby to do this pose)

It was very refreshing to see some excellent fatherhood photos in this contest and this was among the best! The lighting and the black and white choice really help to convey the overall emotion and tone of the photograph. Well done!

This baby's gaze is so captivatingly stunning! I also love the softness of this photograph. The mother's gaze conveys so much emotion. The colors really help to bring all that together. I like the bit of blue cloth on the baby's necklace

"Why is this in my tub?" "Can I eat this?" This photograph is too cute and has me both giggling and saying "aww"! The oranges were such a "fresh" idea. The baby's expression is perfect! And the background is excellent for setting off that bright color! Wonderful job!
