Thank you so much for entering this action packed photo into Backpacks., Your photo has everything going for it. The lighting is dramatic and really makes the shot. The highlights are just enough to make the backpack pop. It also draws the eye to the movement of the soil against the dark background. I love the way the light hits the rear wheel of the motorcycle and dramatizes the movement, and also enhances the detail of the tread on the front tire. The details are exceptionally sharp for an action shot. You can even see tread and soil on the bottom of the rider's boo!. I truly love this image. Congratulations on earning my top pick.

This photograph contains many nice elements. The subdued background with light and shadow creates interest without detracting from the subject. I especially like the height gradient which creates an extra punch of interest. But the selective coloring is what really brings this photo to the next level. It is not overdone, and works to bring everything in this shot together for an outstanding entry. Very well done..

I enjoyed this photo that leaves the viewer asking questions. This capture actually contains three questions. With his toes perched on ledge, the climber appears to be looking down, which leads us to the first question, will he make it to the top? Next, the gray clouds overhead leave us wondering, will it rain? And the third, and most interesting question, how in the heck did he/she capture this shot? I love photos that leave the viewer wondering where the photographer was when he/she snapped the shutter, Great job.
