This picture is like a poem, it has so much to show and to tell.! The more I look at it, the more qualities I discover. I do love the whole impression, the composition, the delicate light, the snow underlining the shapes. The tree looks like it would follow the brook... Thank you for participating in my challenge with such a beautiful photo!

This picture is magic to me because such a spectacular evening glow is seldom seen and even more seldom shot this gorgeous panoramic way against the sun. The forest seems to be on fire while the last rays touch the soil before disappearing. The silhouettes of the thin stemmed trees are drawn with black Chinese ink. while the sky goes from a strong orange to a watercolour brush design of softer pink and even blue, the watercolour way. Thank you for entering in my challenge with a moment of fairy!

This majestic oak is the star of this widely open landscape.. It can be seen from far away on this snow covered plain. It anchors strongly in the soil and extends its powerful trunks, branches and twigs as far as possible into the immense and calm pearl grey sky, discreetly underlined by the soft rosy hue of the setting sun. Thanks for showing me how wonderful the bare naked trees can be in winter in your country!

Very striking photo to me, at first sight! I do like the beautiful contrast between the golden-brown torchlit trees dancing in the middle of the romantic deep blue night and water! Very unusual and surprising sight, elegant and sober picture. Thank you for entering in my challenge with such a good and inspiring idea!

Naked, almost stylized beech trees hiding more and more until they completely disappear in the fog. I love the faint light at the end of the path, a clue that we can escape from the some oppressive atmosphere et retrieve security as soon as we want. Black and white is perfect in this case but I could imagine that soft colours in the mist could also be very nice. Thank you for bringing some mystery into my challenge!

White, faint hues of greys and browns are the only colours of this striking panorama, with just some fine black underlinings of the shapes. The trees form an elegant alignment, in the center of the picture, as they grow at some distance each of the other.. They are not very big but their reflections double their importance in the landscape. This is a very sober and peaceful landscape, very inviting for an immediate hike! Thank your for participating in my challenge with this hello from the Scottish Higlands!

Show me your photos of bare naked trees in nature, when the leaves have been swept away by the cold winter winds. Focus on the beauty of the whole silhouette of one tree or several trees, their crown or their sweeping branches. No people, animals or buildings in the photos. Colour and black and white images are welcome.
