Great movement and composition are the cornerstone of this impactful image. Sweeping around the curve and entering the frame in the top left to exiting on the bottom right. It is remarkable that only the leading racer is relatively sharp and appears to look towards the camera. Black and white is a good choice for this image. Well done and congratulations on being in my top ten selection.
This image gets my attention. It Is one of those images that you see and are encouraged to study further and let the eye wander. I like the stance, position and pose of the figures. One casual and a little bored with the action behind him. The other has been nicely framed in the triangle and watching the action. Together they form a nice balance against the background movement. Nice capture and a worthy top ten selection.
A very good slow shutter capture of the Canary Wharf clocks and subway entrance. The white clocks are the initial attraction and from that position we are invited to further explore and appreciate the composition and timing of this image. The stationary couple take centre stage with a sea of blurry ghosts. There is a lot to take in and there is interest all around the frame. I have some nostalgia for this scene having passed through this subway entrance many times in the distant past. You have captured the atmosphere and told a story. Great timing and a well deserved top ten placing.
A very dynamic image full of movement. The runner in full flight directs the eye across the frame while the camera movement moves up the frame towards the runner. These contradictory movements create a dynamic balance. The position of the runner in the upper quadrant of the frame also makes a pleasing composition. Black and white is a good choice for this image and I am in awe of how you captured this shot at 1/250sec! A very memorable photo an a worthy number one, congratulations.

Some wonderful abstract and semi abstract images can be created by intentionally creating blur in an image. Intentional camera movement (ICM), or use of a slow shutter speed on a moving object, or zoom burst during an exposure, are all methods of creating an artistic one-off image. In-camera effects will be favoured over post production effects, and new work is appreciated. I look forward to seeing your creations.
