Canal Life

I do love this photo, it has my 2 favourite forms of transport, the steam train and canal boat. The British transport has come along way, but nothing can compare to these. Thank you for sharing, I look forward to seeing more of your photos in the future.

thank you for posting this photo, reminds me when I was young watching Rosie and Jim on the old rag doll. maybe that's where my love of narrows boats came from. I wonder if that narrow boat is still about.

I thought this family of swans on the canal looks so natural, the way the canals should look, instead of finding shopping trolleys or bicycle tires getting wrapped around boat props, just like what happened to me one time. thank you for posting.
