City Skylines of the USA

I reviewed this image a few months back on another brief. In addition to my review I would like to convey my kudos on shooting this before dusk and producing a very sharp image. You've also produced a skyline where the buildings do not slope. Sloping skyscrapers on a cityscape is lazy photography IMO. You've nailed this perfectly. This image is frame-worthy. Well done on making my top ten again

Absolutely cracking image of the Manhattan Skyline. You've placed the Twin Towers in a great position on the shot to avoid the bullseye effect. Awesome light capturing it during blue hour. Not sure how you managed to get that moon so big but it works very well in the overall composition. I absolutely love this image. Well done

A nicely composed image with a perfect white balance gives this image a warm and inviting feel. The speedboat in the foreground and its wake acts as a great leading line to the skyline. This would be a great image to advertise Miami Vice, If there was a modern day remake. Well done on a lovely image

I cannot believe you took this from a plane. Not only have you managed to produce a clear image but you've also achieved a relatively shallow depth of field. Manhattan is sharp compared to the out of focus background. Very well done. Even the wing makes for an interesting foreground to provide a narrative to the shot. Also looks like you've used a tilt-shift lens which works very well and kept all the buildings straight. Congratulations on making my top ten

The thing that made this image stand out was its originality. I've seen quite a few with the reflective "bean" in the foreground but not this angle as well as in portrait mode. The two skyscrapers on the right of the image are very sharp and contrast well with the long exposure of the sky, I can imagine how much of a challenge this image was in those windy conditions. This classic view from Kerry Park in Seattle is spot on. You have placed the Space Needle in the perfect spot to ensure it doesn't dominate the image. The distant hazy image of Mount Rainier really adds to this compelling cityscape. Well done on a fantastic shot
